Course description:

Αυτό το τμήμα αφορά τη διδασκαλία της ελληνικής ως ξένης γλώσσας σε ενήλικα άτομα που ενδιαφέρονται να έρθουν σε επαφή με τα νέα ελληνικά.

This course is for the teaching of modern greek to any adult who wants to get acquainted with this language.

Teaching approach:

My course will be designed for every student individually according to their goals and needs. I always come to class prepared but I am quite flexible with the direction a lesson can take-often one small question from the student can lead to a great lesson.

Course program:

A rough sketch of the program (before adapting it to a particular student) looks like this:
-Build a strong foundation by studying the alphabet, pronunciation and spelling rules through a historical lens of the language.
-Add context by explaining some of the history of the country.
-Build on basic grammar and syntactical rules.
