About the teacher

Bonjour ! Je m’appelle Winnie, je viens de Malaisie et je suis d’origine chinoise. J’ai grandi dans un environnement multilingue et je parle le mandarin, le cantonais, l’anglais, le malais et un peu de français.

Ayant vécu et travaillé dans plusieurs pays, je vois la langue comme un véritable pont entre les personnes et les cultures. J’aime enseigner à des publics de tous âges, en mettant l’accent sur la communication réelle, la confiance à l’oral et le plaisir d’apprendre, tout en partageant culture, expériences et situations de la vie quotidienne.

Experience

I have experience teaching both English and Chinese (Mandarin) to children aged 5 to 10 years old in Malaysia and France. In France, I have worked with young learners in informal and educational settings, supporting their language development through conversation and interactive activities.

My role included helping students with schoolwork, providing language support in English and Mandarin, and creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment. I focus on building basic language skills, pronunciation, and confidence in speaking through fun, age-appropriate activities.
