Spanish in the City es un curso de conversación en español que se realiza en cafés, parques y espacios tranquilos de la ciudad. Practicarás speaking y conversación con temas de la vida real: trabajo, viajes, hobbies y cultura, en un ambiente relajado para ganar fluidez y confianza.
Spanish in the City is a Spanish conversation course held in cafés, parks and relaxed city spaces. Students practice speaking through real-life topics such as work, travel, hobbies and culture, helping them build confidence and improve fluency in a friendly, informal environment.
This course focuses on real-life communication rather than traditional classroom learning. Lessons take place in relaxed city environments such as cafés and parks, where students practice Spanish through natural conversation, guided topics, role-plays and interactive speaking activities. The goal is to build confidence, improve fluency and help students use Spanish spontaneously in everyday situations while enjoying a social and engaging learning experience.
Program
This course includes 10 conversation-based classes (60 minutes each). Each session focuses on a practical topic to help students build confidence and fluency in everyday Spanish.
Class 1: Introductions and getting to know each other. Talking about background, interests and goals.
Class 2: Daily life and routines. Describing habits and everyday activities.
Class 3: Hobbies and free time. Talking about interests and personal preferences.
Class 4: Food and restaurants. Ordering food, describing dishes and sharing opinions.
Class 5: Travel and experiences. Talking about trips, places and cultural experiences.
Class 6: Work and studies. Describing jobs, responsibilities and future plans.
Class 7: Culture and lifestyle. Discussing traditions, customs and cultural differences.
Class 8: Opinions and debates. Expressing agreement, disagreement and personal viewpoints.
Class 9: Social situations. Meeting new people and small talk in Spanish.
Class 10: Review and extended conversation practice through games, discussions and role-plays.
Each class includes conversation prompts, useful vocabulary, speaking activities and guided discussion to help students practice Spanish in a relaxed and interactive environment.

¡Hola! ¿Cómo estáis? My name is Jonatan and I come from one of the most visited regions in the world in Spain, Valencia. As a teacher, I like getting to know my students' needs in order to address the main weaknesses they wish to improve and work on with me. I always say that if you know yourself and your students, chances are your classes result in more efficient and positive outcomes. I have over a decade of experience, and I have rendered my teaching services in different countries around the world like China or India.
