Learn Painting
(The Organic Artist – Natural colour painting)
Der Workshop vermittelt Teilnehmenden, wie sie aus natürlichen Pigmenten und Farben (Gemüse, Pflanzen, Erden usw.) selbstgemachte Mal- und Zeichenmaterialien herstellen und die Anwendung verschiedener Mal- und Zeichentechniken mit diesen Farben (Aquarell, Ölmalerei, Kreidezeichnung usw.).
The workshop teaches participants how to create selfmade painting and drawing materials from natural pigments and colours (vegetables, plants, soils etc.) and different painting and drawing techniques with these natural colors (watercolour, oil painting, crayon drawing etc.).
This course is for advanced, intermediate and beginner painters and drawers who are interested in methods to craft sustainable natural painting and drawing materials. The main target group are artists and creatives who are interested in the intersection of visual arts and sustainability who want to learn more sustainable approaches and techniques to create artworks. The workshop wants to support the artistic goals of the participants and provide professional experience, knowledge to reach them.

Hello, my name is Helena and I'm a german visual artist and art lecturer who lives and works in Germany and Finland. I studied visual arts with focus on (oil) painting as well as art teaching and absolved an Erasmus semester and 3 years of private lessons in 2D animation. As artist and environmentalist, it is very important for me to know where my work materials come from, thus I am crafting my own paints from natural plant and soil pigments.
