I offer personalized tutoring for elementary and middle school students (grades K–8) in any subject. Whether your child needs help building a strong foundation in reading and math, catching up in science and social studies, or getting ahead with more challenging material, I’m here to support them every step of the way.My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s unique learning style.
Over the 10 sessions, the program covers:1. Reading & Literacy (Sessions 1–4) Phonics, fluency, and reading comprehension strategies
Vocabulary building through stories and word games
Understanding main ideas, making predictions, and drawing conclusions
Building confidence in reading aloud
2. Writing Skills (Sessions 5–6) Sentence structure and paragraph writing

My name is Daniela. I am originally from Germany and have been living in the US most of my adult life. My passion has been teaching for as long as I can remember and I taught in a classroom for over 30 years. Recently I retired, but still have the desire to share my accumulated experience and knowledge with students, just in a somewhat less demanding setting and preferably with one student at a time. I love to converse about a variety of subjects, read, walk, eat good food and live a healthy lifestyle.
