Dieser Kurs bietet eine systematische Einführung in die portugiesische Sprache und die Kultur Brasiliens.
Lernen Sie mit einer muttersprachlichen Dozentin mit über 15 Jahren Erfahrung als Sprachlehrerin. In einem dynamischen Unterricht, der sich an alle Altersgruppen richtet, entwickeln wir gemeinsam alle vier Grundfertigkeiten: Hörverstehen, Leseverstehen, Schreiben und aktives Sprechen.
Neben dem Eintauchen in die Geschichte und die reiche Kultur Brasiliens trainieren wir reale Alltagssituationen wie Begrüßungen, Gespräche über Beruf und Familie, Bestellungen im Restaurant etc.
So bauen wir Schritt für Schritt einen soliden Grundwortschatz auf und erlernen erste Grundlagen der Grammatik.

About the teacher

Olá! My name is Ellen, and I am a certified language teacher from Brazil currently living in Berlin. I have over 10 years of experience teaching Portuguese and English to students from diverse backgrounds in international settings.

What I love most about teaching is building connections through language and culture. I believe that learning a new language goes beyond grammar—it is deeply tied to culture, identity, and human interaction. My lessons are structured, student-centered, and tailored to each learner’s unique goals and pace.

In addition to teaching, I am an art historian and artist with a deep passion for culture. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, visiting exhibitions, attending concerts, reading, and learning new languages myself—including German, which I am currently studying at a B1 level.

Experience

I have over 10 years of experience teaching Portuguese and English to students from diverse backgrounds in international settings. In Brazil, I taught English in language schools and at the university level. Since moving to Berlin, I have taught English to young learners across public schools, as well as Portuguese (levels A1–B2) to private students and at institutions such as Forum Brasil and the VHS. My courses are designed to help students build strong language skills while integrating historical and cultural aspects of Brazil.
