The goal of the course is to provide learners with survival Bulgarian language skills so they can communicate and cope in culturally appropriate ways in everyday life situations.

Served as an effective Bulgarian language and cross-cultural guide during the 13 years with US Peace Corps in Bulgaria. Part of my responsibilities were to plan, direct and support language component during the complete two-year cycle of volunteer work in Bulgaria. My work included design of integrated language competencies,curriculum materials and training resources; direct language instructions (group and one-on-one) and assessment of up to 80 Americans each year.
