Course description:

I will be focusing on simple pieces to play, discussing about technique, the solfeggio, the different approaches to adopt, how to learn score reading and the meaning of the music. This description is very general because will depend on the level of each student and what he/she will learn.

Teaching approach:

The approach I use is based on the scientific method. I try different methods through observation, focusing on the ability of each student and helping them to discover their ability and the techniques to improve.

About the teacher

Hello everybody. I am Domenico, I am 28 and I am a new piano teacher here in Vancouver. I am from Italy and I bring the sun from there, I am a very passionate and professional musician. My speciality is piano and classical music and I studied since I was eight. During my career I obtained bachelor and two masters degrees in classical interpretation.

I would really like to share and transmit my knowledge and my experience, I have the right tools in order to switch on the interest in music to everyone. People from any age are welcome! I assure great experiences, offering high competence and fun at the same time. I can teach at any level for any course and prepare for the RCM exams.

Experience

I have more than 19 years of experience, I thought piano, solfeggio, theory, history of music and harmony. Creative, organized and detail-oriented, excellent work ethic plus strong time management and interpersonal skills. Music is a passion I grew up with, I love the history of the music and how it evolved.
