Learn Spanish
This course is intended for young and adult people who have no previous knowledge of the Spanish language. It is also useful for students with very little knowledge equivalent to A2 level. The students will be exposed to the Spanish language to build a solid ground of knowledge for further learning.
We would have a complete immersion in Spanish and will try to speak as little as possible in other languages. The student will develop all-round skills with different kinds of exercises: writting, phonetics, vocabulary and grammar. Additionally we will learn about Latin American and Hispanic culture, geography and history. I consider conversational skills and practical tools for communication very important. Homework every time!

My name is Juan Sebastian and I come from Colombia. I was born in Bogota about 26 years ago. I went to college and got a degree in Politics and an Master in Political Science as well. Previously I had studied a little bit of Medicine and Management before going into the Social Sciences. I enjoy reading, writing, swimming, playing futbol and watching movies, especially from Latin America. We can discuss any topic you want from History to Literature, Culture and of course Politics. Also, we can learn about particular mannerisms from Latin American countries and expressions. It all depends on your interests. Should be fun!

I have taught little children in the U.S.A. They were between 9 and 14 and had no previous knowlege. I was also a private tutor for fellow students who were taking Spanish in high school. I had in total 6 students from different levels but none of them was advanced. Duration of 5 months.
In Colombia I taught two Germans. One of them went there to do his civil service and had no previous knowledge of the language. We had class for 3 months. I also helped a German colleague who had previously studied 2 years and went as an exchange student to my university. He wanted to improve his writing skills and conversational skills for academic purposes. We practiced during 4 months.
