This level begins to develop the skills of understanding and speaking Spanish. It introduces the language for everyday purposes such as introducing oneself, greeting people, asking for and giving simple information, etc. To provide a framework for such communication it introduces basic grammatical structures.
The course is tutorial based with a combination of whole class activity and group work; use of audio-visual material as teaching aids (videos, tapes and images).

Ordering food and drink, describing places, the weather.
Cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries.
Useful verbs and expressions, counting, spelling.
Articles and pronouns, prepositions, the present tense, likes and dislikes.

Hola! students, my name is Jesus and I grew up in Mexico City but I'm currently living in Guadalajara, México. I have a passion for teaching, I like it so much that I would probably do it for FREE. I learned to speak English by myself without taking any kind of extra classes and I strongly believe that you can learn a language just by chatting with someone about something you like.
Spanish is not a particullary hard language and it is used more and more around the United States and some parts of the world. Did you know that Hispanics are the second largest minority inside the US? This means more opportunities to meet new people and to expand your business.
I love to spend time on the web just chatting up with strangers form a country different from mine and I specially love to travel. Give me a shot and in your first class you will learn many useful things of basic and intermedium Spanish, specially to speak and read!
