My approach is simple; to bring relevant topics to each class, along with essential vocabulary, phrasal verbs, and expressions that make the conversation flow. When and if necessary, some grammar points are explained to facilitate the use of new expressions. Everyone in the class has the opportunity to speak; I will not dominate the conversation but will allow everyone to be heard while giving the needed correction. I do not like grading systems or written work, unless you personally want that in which case we can speak about this together. Conversational classes are much more relaxed and are best suited for my teaching abilities.
