I have designed this course to get you speaking. This conversation course will help every student overcome that lack of confidence by giving them the tools that everyone needs to be better understood when speaking a foreign language, including essential vocabulary, phrasal verbs, and more.
My approach is simple; to bring relevant topics to each class, along with essential vocabulary, phrasal verbs, and expressions that make the conversation flow. When and if necessary, some grammar points are explained to facilitate the use of new expressions. Everyone in the class has the opportunity to speak; I will not dominate the conversation but will allow everyone to be heard while giving the needed correction. This course is ideal for individuals or small groups of 3 or 4 students.
Our program includes the following:
1. Conversation based on selected topics
2. Short readings of articles on relevant topics
3. Review of important vocabulary and how to use it.
4. New phrasal verbs and expressions
5. The correction of pronunciation and grammar usage.

Hello everyone! I’m a Canadian-born language trainer with more than 25 years of experience teaching English. Over the years, I’ve worked in many areas of ESL, including TOEFL preparation, teacher training, conversation courses, and professional English.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with thousands of students from different backgrounds. I’ve also experienced the challenge of learning a second language myself — Spanish — which has given me a deeper understanding of what language learners go through.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, listening to music (both classic and new), and traveling whenever I can.
I’m passionate about helping people strengthen their English skills so they can expand their academic, professional, and personal opportunities. ¡Hola a todos! Soy un profesor de idiomas nacido en Canadá con más de 25 años de experiencia enseñando inglés. A lo largo de mi carrera he trabajado en distintas áreas del inglés como segundo idioma (ESL), incluyendo preparación para el TOEFL, formación de profesores, cursos de conversación e inglés para el ámbito profesional.

I have almost 21 years of teaching experience. I started working in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic in 2000 and continued working there for 16 years. Since then, I have been working independently, offering Language service in local companies. These services have included 'language classes', 'Business English', translation from Spanish to English, and I also offer Interpreting services.
During that period from 2000 to the present, I have worked exclusively in the language industry. I have 10's of thousands of hours of teaching experience both in the classroom and online.
