I use drama-based techniques such as analyzing poems or songs. In this way, students understand the meanings and peculiarities of the language in greater depth. Additionally, parsing words into their etymology is a method I enjoy using. Especially the Greek language through language loans and anti-loans is largely connected with several foreign languages. This is something that in my experience, my students find highly interesting and exciting.

Αγαπητοί μου μαθητές.
Το όνομά μου είναι Ανδρονίκη και μαζί μπορούμε να εξερευνήσουμε το μαγικό ταξίδι της ελληνικής γλώσσας και του πολιτισμού. Θα μιλήσουμε για φαγητό και για ταξίδια στα μαγικά μέρη της Ελλάδας. Αν σας αρέσει η περιγραφή του ταξιδιού μου, σας προσκαλώ να ταξιδέψουμε μαζί!!

My dear students.
My name is Androniki and together we can explore the magical journey of Greek language and culture. We will talk about food, about traveling to the magical places of Greece, about traditions and customs. If you like the description of my journey, I invite you to travel with me!!!

The teaching method I follow is mainly teacher-centred, at least in terms of the first levels of teaching until the learner starts to feel more independent.
The main learning tool is books, but we also use extra material such as newspapers, magazines and other relevant audio-visual material.
