What do you like about teaching English?
A:

I love teaching because i get to pass my knowledge to my pupils and it's amazing seeing students progress!

When did you decide to become an English teacher?
A:

I have been teaching for 12 years! Since i was a little girl, i wanted to be a teacher and when i studied Modern Languages, i decided that teaching languages was what i wanted to do!

In your experience, what are the most common reasons for wanting to learn English?
A:

For work, travelling and personal reasons!

How difficult is it to learn English, compared to other languages?
A:

Every language has its' difficulties but it depends on the approach of each teacher and student!

What's the hardest part of teaching English?
A:

Based on my experience, many students think in their mother tongue and they translate sentences in English. It takes a lot of practice to make a student think in English! A student has to be in contact with the English language on a daily basis!

What makes a good English student?
A:

A good English student is the one that puts in the effort, asks questions and isn't affraid to make mistakes! We learn through our mistakes.

What's the hardest part of learning English?
A:

Everyone is different and each student finds different things difficult based on their background!

What is your advice for students who are struggling?
A:

Listening, speaking and reading in English helps a lot!

How long does it take to become fluent in English?
A:

It depends on how commited a student is!

In your opinion, what makes some students progress faster than others?
A:

Commitement and practice!
