My pupils were immigrants whose first language was not Spanish. The objective was to establish and build upon their skills in Spanish so that they could fully function in their new surroundings. Regular assessments and feedback were carried out to ensure that we, the teachers, were fully meeting the needs of the pupils and goals of the school
