I am a 28 year old visual artist, musician and doctoral student. I have an MA in Fine Arts, having studied in Spain and Finland, with a major in Sculpture. I have been awarded by different grants and artist residencies like SVA in NYC among others. I have experience in both solo and group exhibitions in contemporary galleries and art centers. I am also a graduate musician with a major in violin, having performed solo and as part of several young symphony orchestras. Currently I am an active performer of contemporary, experimental and improvised music, I've presented my work in countries like Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, Poland, Finland, the USA and others, and I've collaborated with other musicians, visual artists and dancers from many places. At the moment I am also writing my PhD to become a Doctor of Arts.

Learning to play the violin is a difficult and long process, but it doesn't necessarily have to be painful or stressing if approached in a friendly way. We will focus on the student's interests and figure out the best way to overcome the difficulties and obstacles on the way so that we can build stable foundations and guide the student on his or her future development and life as a musician.

Course program:

- Basic concepts and introductory exercises.

- Position and muscle relaxation exercises to avoid lesions and muscle contractions.

- Listening and musicality training.

- Technical development.

- Interpretation of the classical, modern and contemporary repertoires.

- Correct practice guidelines and future autodidactism.

- Improvisation.
