Could you build a house without walls? Make a mousaka without the thick cream on top? That's the equivalent of trying to by-pass the alphabet in any language learning, simply because without it you won't have access to the knowledge!

Alongside basic grammar and syntax, the alphabet is necessary to not only start understanding how greek works but also so that you can become an independent user of the language in time. :D

It is necessary to include the alphabet and how to read Greek in your very first steps of learning. The Greek alphabet is the base of Roman alphabet. Knowing Greek will help you learn other European languages, such as French, English or Italian more easily.

Hello! Ya su! Γεια σου!

By learning Greek, you can get a deeper understanding of European history and culture. The Greek alphabet is the base of the Roman alphabet. Knowing Greek will help you learn other European languages, and also estimated twelve percent of the English vocabulary has Greek origins. It's not necessary to learn the Greek alphabet if you don't want to but it would be really difficult to read messages, menu and letters too. I would be really happy to teach you and i can promise that you will be able to start reading in about 3-5 classes. It's fun to learn the greek alphabet and it's simple like math :)

The simple answer is yes! Greek is an alphabet based language. Each letter has a specific sound attached to it , so by learning the alphabet its relatively easy to start reading (even if you don't understand exactly the content) which will improve your pronunciation in the long term.

While there's no strict requirement, I recommend learning the Greek alphabet. It aids in reading, offers an additional practice approach, and enhances your understanding of grammar and syntax.

It is not necessary to learn the alphabet before we start our lessons. The first lessons will cover how to read and write the alphabet in Greek! In case you only want to learn oral Greek, you have to remember that learning a language only in speaking terms is different and sometimes more difficult for you, because it is harder to find contexts in order to use Greek.

Yes, it is very important to learn Greek illiteracy and the pronunciation of the letters

March 31

You need to recognise the letters to move forward. The Greek alphabet is different and there are no Latin letters. You can learn the alphabet and next to each letter you can have words as examples to understand how each letter is pronounced

April 2

It's not necessary to know how to pronounce each letter on its own, but if you want to be able to read and speak and recognize, yes. But of course, there is no need to be familiar with the Greek alphabet before starting to learn Greek, absolutely not. That's why we, tutors, are here. You only need to enroll, we will learn together.
