About the teacher

Hello! My name is Emily Terry. I am a 22-year-old recent university graduate currently living in Madrid. I studied Bilingual Education, so my ultimate goal is to be an English and Spanish teacher in the United States. I absolutely love to teach, seeing others learn makes me so happy! And since I learned Spanish myself, I understand how difficult it can be to begin speaking a new language. With me, you do not need to feel nervous. I am here to help and to support your language growth! I also love to spend time outside, traveling, dancing, and meeting new people. I look forward to many fun classes in the near future!

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Interdiciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Bilingual Education from Texas A&M University, 2016
Teacher certification in Texas

Experience

I have taught and tutored many students in the United States and Mexico in both English and Spanish. Many of my students have been from ages 7-15, but I also have many friends my age who I have tutored in the past.
