About the teacher

I am Robert Douglas, I come from the UK & am looking to move to France with my wife. I have been playing piano & guitar for many years & enjoy the fact that anyone at any age can pick up an instrument & learn it, whether they want to become a rock star or just learning for their own pleasure. I enjoy being able to pass on my knowledge to others & have them find their own passion for it. Other interests aside from music include travelling, writing, movies, various sports (also of which I have taught), dancing, learning languages & bad jokes.

B.A Hons in Popular Music Studies -Leeds University - 2003
BTEC in Popular Music Studies - Oldham College - 2000
A Level Physical Education - Oldham 6th Form - 1996
GCSE's English Language & Literature, Maths & Sciences -Counthill School - 1993

Experience

I have taught guitar & piano in the UK over a few years to family & friends all ages.
I have taught football in the UK for 7 years 5-11 year olds at a Primary school
I have taught martial arts in the UK for a year to all ages from 5 - 90 year olds at various venues around North East Manchester
