Course description:

Tôi sẽ dạy cho bạn những điều cơ bản của guitar hiện đại. Học các ghi chú trên cần đàn, làm thế nào để đọc tablature, làm thế nào để xây dựng cung tiến và làm thế nào để tư mình chơi trên đầu trang của họ.

I will teach you the basics of modern guitar. Learning the notes on the fretboard, how to read Tablature, how to build chord progressions and how to solo over top of them.

Teaching approach:

I will focus on the guitar as opposed to a classical music approach. I will work on alternative/rock and roll guitar techniques and teach a guitar based music theory (TABs).

About the teacher

Hello, I am Sheehan Jordan, a 24 year old Canadian currently living in Ho Chi Minh in D7. I have been playing guitar, bass, drums and writing my own music since I was 12 years old. I have many years of experience playing in bands of many styles from pop to rock and roll. I have taught music and English literacy to children from the age of 6-14 in numerous Canadian cities.

I have recorded many albums and songs with many different bands and continue to write and record my own music.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2015 in Political Studies and Indigenous Studies and continue to hold an interest in politics and culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's of Arts in Political Studies from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Graduated in 2015.

Experience

Private music lessons in Kingston & Ottawa, Ontario, Canada for children aged 6-13.

English Literacy in Kingston, Ontario, Canada for grades 2 & 3.

English Literacy in Arviat, Nunavut, Canada for children aged 6-13.
